Steven Van Wicklen, DDS
Dr. Van Wicklen graduated from UT Austin in 1981, obtaining a degree in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. Since 1985, Dr. Van Wicklen has been providing quality dental care for the Austin area and was voted “Best in Austin” by the Austin Chronicle.
Married to his childhood sweetheart Jeanette, and together they enjoy spending time with their family & pets, bicycling, tennis, traveling, motorcycle riding, snow skiing, hiking, gardening & renovating houses. They also spend alot of time in Buena Vista, Colorado where they have a vacation home. Dr. VW enjoys riding many of the Enduro motorcycle trails of Colorado & participates in riding events while there.
Dr. Chad Orlich, Periodontist
Born in Houston, Dr. Chad Orlich received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then went on to obtain his doctorate and specialty training from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. While there, he was the chief resident of Periodontology and received training in the placement of dental implants, cosmetic gum procedures, and both the surgical and non surgical treatment of periodontal disease.
Dr. Orlich then moved back to Texas and started practicing in the Austin area. In addition to his work with Dr. Van Wicklen, Dr. Orlich provides community service and volunteer work with Give Kids a Smile and Dental and Medical Mission Relief. When he’s not providing periodontal treatment, Dr. Orlich enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Orlich also enjoys scuba diving, hiking, spending time outdoors, remodeling houses, and enjoying live music.
